GristyMcFisty used our news submit to tell us that Sony has agreed to stop all illegal fly posting around London after it received Anti Social Behaviour Orders against its executives. Two of Sony's managing directors were threatened with Anti Social Behaviour Orders with even a threat of jail if Sony did not stop the illegal fly posting campaign. Sony has promised not to fly post anywhere inEngland or Wales in the future.
Action is also facing BMG from Camden council who will still pursue the company even though charges were originally dropped. The London council claimed that the two companies saved £8 million pounds a year on advertising but cost the councils £250,000 a year in clean up costs due to the fly posting campaign.

Taken from The Register. I think lawsuits against the various employees of the company are the best option. I think it's only fair since they use it against consumers. Serves these companies right, I reckon the councils should have asked for compensation while they are at it, maybe in the tune of £8 million pounds that the companies saved themselves in advertising. Also, Sony promised not to do anymore illegal fly posting in England or Wales, but what about Northern Ireland or Scotland, they didnt say anything about that.
