The Dutch website Webwereld is reporting that Sony has fired 80% of their 355 employees from one of their offices in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
According to Sony they had to fire these people because increasing piracy and home-burning is costing the company to much money. Therefor it will cut in it's assemblage and distribution personell.
-- Well maybe these people can start to work for the home electronics department of Sony, where they make their Sony CDRW drives ?
