Androlight used our news submit to tell us "Pirate proof??? Nothing is pirate proof. If you can view it, you can record it. It's sad to watch how the entertainment buisness wastes their money on "copy-protections" that ends up as inconvience for the legitimate consumer. I hope Hollywood learned the leason from RIAA. Copy protected audio-cd's has poor compatiblity and can't be copied to the computer (legal in most countries) so the consumers don't want it. It makes p2p even more appealing. Forget about copyprotection, DRM, etc. It does'nt work. Make a product that gives the consumer value for money."
I just don't understand this fear out there that consumers are going to bankrupt the major motion picture studios with their computers and the Internet. First, they put the movie in the theater and break box office records all the time. Then, they send them out to rental stores and make another killing.
