In december you should able to buy your first TDK 32x CDRW drive, TDK then introduces a new line of 32 speed drives with as interface tastes, ATAPI, USB and FireWire. Also a new line of 24 speed drives are available with the same choice of interfaces.
The TDK drives will be shipped with Ahead's Nero, InCD and TDK's own Digital Mixmaster music management software for PC users. Apple Mac users will have to work with Adaptec's Toast.

So, also TDK will not feature a SCSI 32 speed as a lot of you would like to see, and NO, we don't know if these drives will support RAW DAO and subchannels correctly.
