Over 1500 of our registered members voted in our poll 'Currently I prefer discs from the following manufacturer' and the outcome was very clear. The true winner was Taiyo Yuden with nearly 40% of the votes. Second was MCC (Mitsubishi Chemicals) the company best know for their Verbatim brand. Media from MCC received nearly 16% of the votes and Ritek managed to get the third position with nearly 11% of the votes.
The fact that Taiyo Yuden is the clear winner of this poll comes at no suprise. The media of this manufacturer is widely supported and the quality of the discs is according to user reports consistent and good. Princo was least popular in our poll, Princo also has the image of being a budget manufacturer and the company has still some legal issues with Philips going regarding licensing.
