The RDVDC (The Recordable DVD Council) has in the same way as the DVD+RW Alliance (see here) brought out a press release where the Council explains why their formats are the best ones.
"DVD players and DVD-ROM drives have been touted as some of the hottest electronics products in the industry's history. We believe that the 'Real DVD' recordable DVD products will follow these products as household commodities and dominate the electronics products industry in 2003," said RDVDC Chairman, Bon-Guk Koo, Samsung Electronics, Co., Ltd.
