The World’s First One Terabyte Notebook PC

After the announcement of new 500GB hard disks for notebook, Asus announced that it has integrated Hitachi’s Travelstar 5K500 hard drive into its new M50 and M70 notebook PCs, the latter of which delivers up to 1TB of storage capacity in a two-drive configuration.

According to the announcement, this high capacity is needed to promote the diffusion of High Definition multimedia contents, and with the M50 and M70, ASUS aims to provide a high-definition audio and video experience.

Of course, to obtain 1 TB capacity with two discs it is necessary to implement a RAID 0 system, so if you are planning to buy this laptop bear this in mind 😉
