Maccentral.com is reporting that Apple users that are using Toast Titanium can download has version 5.1.2 from Roxio's website. The new version supports a lot of new drives:
For example, it adds support for the Panasonic DVD-RAM/DVD-R drive over FireWire. Toast Titanium can now write DVD-RAM to the drive, which supports 1x speed writing to DVD-R. It also adds support for Sony's CRX200E double-density CD-RW drive, which supports all formats when recording to standard CD-R/RW media (650MB or 700MB). Toast Titanium also adds support for the Yamaha USB 2.0 bridge. |
Before upgrading, you should note a couple of things. Roxio says you may need to rebuild the desktop after updating to Toast Titanium 5.0.2. And if you have Toast Lite on your Mac, delete it before installing Toast Titanium.
Toast Titanium runs on Mac OS 9.1 - Mac OS X 10.1.2. You'll need to have Toast 5 Titanium 5.x installed before using the updater.
