Who doesn't know TweakFiles? Seems like C|Net and GameSpot are shutting down those services (first 3DFiles, now TweakFiles) as quickly as i can type. This is bad bad bad...
 TweakFiles was started around 9/99 by Tim and I, (Jim), came on board around 12/99. Since then we have grown to around 500,000 ad views per day. The problem is ad views aren't worth what they used to be and the ftp service to host the files has grown dramatically. We found out yesterday that C|Net and GameSpot have decided to close TweakFiles down. Our final day will be 9/14/01. |
