Use Apple iTunes for P2P music sharing, as long as it lasts

The website SpyMac.com is now offering a service to Apple users to share their music on the internet. Using iTunes 4 and a web browser it is now possible to search and play music from Apple iTunes users. Although the service is likely to be meant for legal music, there is some pirated music available on SpyMac.

Since the introduction of iTunes 4, music enthusiasts have been able to easily stream their digital tunes to fellow Mac users around the globe. Today, Spymac is pleased to announce its advanced web-based solution that harnesses iTunes' integrated streaming while providing exclusive features such as Song Search and Library Browsing -- directly from your favorite web browser.

Our regular development
wizards teamed up with skilled Mac coder David Benesch to disect the
iTunes DAAP protocol -- allowing Spymac to implement features with a level
of integration usually only available to Cupertino workers. Today's
release showcases the bare-bones of the system, but stay tuned for some
pretty cool future
enhancements.

For more information and using the service you can visit the SpyMac Music website here.
