GristyMcFisty used our news submit to tell us about some exciting news from VIA Technologies. The Inquirer is reporting that VIA's new HDTV encoder chip will feature a plethora of inputs and outputs. The VT1625 will enable PCs to support HDTV displays and also take input from graphics chips or MPEG decoders including 1080i HDTV.
This sounds pretty good. If you are interested in HDTV technology, then make sure to keep an eye on our Satellite, HD-TV, Blu-ray and HD-DVD Forum.
