VSO-Software releases updates for Blindwrite and CopyToDVD

lapinou and H-EvA-K both used our news submit to tell us that VSO-Software has updated their software. The very popular DVD backup tool CopyToDVD together with the latest version of AnyDVD seemed to cause problems, and one of the developers of VSO complained publicly on our boards, the issue seems now to be resolved. Also an update for Blindwrite has been released. VSO will soon be releasing a new major version of Blindwrite, bringing it to version 5.x.


CopyToCD/DVD Version 2.2.8 released:

Packaged with patin-couffin drivers version 13 - fix a bug that could potentially cause BSOD when other softwares are installed (AnyDVD 1.5 or above)
  • Fixed the detection of remote files. Under Win9x, some files were falsely detected as located on a remote (network) storage.
  • Support of cache file higher than 3 Gb on any windows platform (including 9x/Me). Cache is split in multiple files of 1Gb. Max size, a value supported by any OS.
  • Fixed a problem in registry update when 3rd party products using CopyToCD/DVD as a burning engine.

  • Uses patin-couffin 13
