VSO releases Blindwrite 6 to selected people for beta testing

According to our software and hardware reviewer Womble, VSO Software is preparing to launch Blindwrite version 6.  For those new to this software package, Blindwrite is a 1:1 CD and DVD cloning package designed to copy CD's and DVD's including those crippled with copy protection measures.

So far, they have made version 6.0.0.6 available to selected people to try out.  A lot of time and effort has been put into Version 6 in an aim to make this the best version ever, as the last version released was 5.2.24 back in March 2006.

The Changelog to this new version is as follows:

6.0.0.6

  • Graphics update
  • Fixed blu ray command
  • Various minor fixes

6.0.0.4

  • New unlock text format
  • Support blu-ray ( thanks to Pioneer and TDK for help )
  • Update playability for recent games backup
  • Automatic media detection
  • Select burn speed
  • Eject bug fixed
  • New graphic
  • Introduce ez-play

The interface remains basically the same with only a few minor tweaks to improve clarity. The main focus of this release seems to be the inclusion of Blue-Ray support.

Keep an eye out on VSO software's website for the upcoming launch.  Feel free to discuss about Blindwrite and other VSO Software packages on our VSO Software forum.
