Video Games website is reporting unconfirmed rumors that some Walmart "associates" have gotten wind of Xbox 360 and it's accompanying games pricing and have let it slip a bit early to those that will listen. Not only that, we can learn the the next generation device will go on sale this November 4th in the US. Time to pull the Winnebago or whatever RV you have and stake out a claim in the Walmart parking lot, (they allow RV'ers to do this) so you can be one of the first to latch on to this gaming platform!

Naturally a smidgeon of sceptism should be maintained until Microsoft makes an official announcement, however the $299.99 price point hardly appears to be out of the bounds of possibility and suggests a pound/dollar equation when Microsoft's next-gen format is launched upon UK shores later in the month. As widely believed games appear to be slightly more expensive then many would hope with the likes of Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3 marked at $59.99. |
Actually, we have always figured the Xbox was going to go for around this price, so this is no big surprise, or earth shattering news. Yet, for all the versatility and power of this device, $300 seems reasonable! It sure will be nice though, to get some real world feedback on the power of this console.
