When the freaks come out: DVD burning competitions!

Some
of you might consider themselves a geek, or when you are really into burning a
CD Freak. Here at CD Freaks we love to give you the opportunity to be at your
geekiest and freakiest. Moderator Zevia started a
thread that should become a fun competition to witness a thorough
performance of each BenQ drives, in all aspects and categories. Currently the
guys of the BenQ forum are discussing the details but they've already come up
with these rules.

Contestant: All BenQ drives including retail, OEM and rebadged. Category: All kinds of CD/DVD media Sub-category: Quality (disc quality scan with Nero CD-DVD Speed) Burn Speed (8x, 12x, 16x) Read Speed (read transfer rate with Nero CD-DVD Speed) Advanced: 99 mins CD-R overburning 4600MB DVD+R overburning Others? Rules: All media must be burn in a BenQ drives with any kind of software All burned must be scan in a BenQ drives with Nero CD-DVD Speed You can use stock or modified firmware Burn size (minimum): CD-R/RW: 600MB DVD±R/RW: 4464MB (4.36GB) DVD±R DL: 7800MB (7.60GB).
