Research firm iSuppli concludes that Nintendo's Wii will surpass Microsoft's 360 as the number one next-gen console, by the year's end. It's expected that the Wii will hit more than 30 million units, compared to Xbox reaching nearly 26 million units. With the two consoles leading by the end of 2008, PlayStation is following with only 20 million units.
The year 2011 is forecasted as Sony's year since the PlayStation will be dominant by then. A total of 38.4 million units will give Sony the number one position, followed by the Wii with 37.7 million units and the '360' with 32.3 million units.
What do you expect, PlayStation on the long run?
