Win a book: CD recordable solutions

In association with Muska & Lipman Publishing
we can give away copies of the book: CD recordable solutions by Martin C. Brown to our visitors.

They contacted us if we could promote their book a little, and we thought: 'why not!'. This is where the book is about:

This book teaches you how to burn music, data, and video CDs on your PC, Mac, or Linux machine. You'll learn just enough about technical specifications to understand your CD burner and how to get the most out of your hardware and software.

This book explains the difference between CD-recordable and CD-rewritable formats, how a CD writer works, and how to build DVD-compatible CDs. It also discusses how to organize what you record, how to create a media catalog, backups and archiving, and how to verify and test your CDs.

I guess it's more a book for the newbie and average CD burner, but nevertheless a good book to read for those who want an in depth look into CD writing.

Contest:

As said, Muska & Lipman Publishing has send us some books to give away and we thought it would be nice if you have to something to get them. This is what we would like you to do:

  • Send us a description of the biggest, or first problem you had when you started burning.
  • Tell us how you solved this problem, and if you still didn't solve the problem then tell us what you already have tried.
  • Mail this to contest@cdfreaks.com

We will pick the winners from those who have a good and detailled story. You don't have to send us your address, we will contact you when you are the winner. We will end the contest at the 1st of October.

If you can't wait and want to order the book right now, you can go here and get a 20% Discount.
