The supreme court of Austria has made a sensational sentence: home-copying is not illegal.
The catch is that the supreme court ruled that installing illegal software is the same as copying illegal software. Since he was not found guilty to copying software before, he could not be convicted for installing them.

Thanks to the Austrian law system, these supreme court rulings can (and certainly will ) be used as precedent, maybe opening a whole new era of Austrian Copy Policy.
