Data startup firm Axiom secured a $4 million seed funding from UK-based investor Crane Venture Partners, which pushed for the revival from stealth mode.
Following the seed round, Axiom announced that it has now raised $7 million in its funding since the year 2017. Other investors who participated in the seed round include LocalGlobe, Fly VC, Mango Capital, and angel investors GitHub CEO Nat Friedman, and Heroku’s Adam Wiggins.
Axiom plans to reveal an enterprise-grade solution to analyze machine data across multiple infrastructures. The start claims that this solution can manage data at any given scale and type of infrastructure.

Development Operations team can benefit from this new enterprise solution as it has the ability to store and query data in a single interface. Axiom said there’s no need for overhead to maintain data scaling. This solution will help companies save more money while securing data.
Axiom is addressing the difficulty in analyzing and managing the critical date, speeding up the resource-intensive initiatives, and providing insights. The key here is managing machine data minus the expensive and time-consuming problems associated with the task.
The company claims the new data management solution will cut the costs of DevOps by ten times.
Co-founder and CEO Jagdish Patel said, “DevOps teams are stuck under the pressure of that because it’s up to them to deliver a solution to that problem. And the solutions that existed are quite, well, they’re very complex.”
Business Advantage
With Axiom’s data managing solution, ‘businesses can store more data to query at whatever they want.’ To sell this solution, the startup has to come together with Crane to improve sales processes and marketing.
Patel said Axiom has been tapping a lot of investors and Crane ‘understood’ the position of the company. ‘They have the razor-sharp focus on how they get you to market and how you make sure your sales process and marketing is a success,’ added the CEO.
Meanwhile, Crane Venture Partners believes that Axiom can come a long way in creating innovative products that can benefit millions of developers around the world.
Founder Scott Sage said, “We are proud to invest in Axiom to allow them to build a business helping DevOps teams turn logging challenges from a resource-intensive problem to a business advantage.’
Axiom founders have been building a wide array of developer products since 2017, which aims to drastically reduce data management costs and index huge volumes of data.
