BiTMICRO Networks announced that they have boosted the capacity of its E-Disk Altima E3S320 solid state drive (SSD)... It was boosted to an amazing 1.6TB. BitMICRO's SSD is expected to deliver data transfers of up to 230MB/sec.
The company's newest product could work in high-demanding business, military and industrial applications. The E3S320 solid state drive will use SLC NAND flash which will deliver strong data integrity and drive longevity.
The introduction of the E-Disk Altima E3S320 is planned in several, different waves. The first, sampling wave, is planned for the second quarter of 2008. After this the product will be shipped in volume by Q3 2008.
