Our friends from CDRLabs.com have wrapped up their latest review. This time they've not reviewed a new CD or DVD-recorder but they've taken a look at a burning software called B's Recorder GOLD5. This software promises ease of use for the inexperienced users, advanced features for the power users and various useful tools:
That brings us to where we are today. Earlier this year, BHA released B's Recorder GOLD5. This new software builds upon the reputation of the B's Recorder family with a new and improved user interface and support for BHA's new EXPiC modules. These EXPiC modules allow you to add, replace or remove features, depending upon your needs. Some of these features include a WAV file editor, sound filters and the ability to do hard drive backups with compression. |

So, while B's Recorder GOLD5 is a solid program, with some decent features like CD Ripping and Shellgate, it just doesn't measure up at the end of the day. For now, the recording crown still belongs to Ahead's Nero Burning Rom.
