CenDyne 48/24/48/16 combo drive review @ CDRLabs.com

CDRLabs.com has
wrapped up a review of the CenDyne 48/24/48/16 combo drive,
meaning that besides being a CD-recorder, the drive can also read DVD media.
Here's part of what CDRLabs.com had to say about the drive:

CenDyne has come through with another impressive drive.
Based on the award winning Samsung SM-348B, their new 48/24/48/16
combo drive delivers features and performance that should make any
consumer happy.

CenDyne's new combo drive
also performed very well in our writing and rewriting tests. Like the
Samsung SM-348B, it turned in some very good writing times, making it one
of the faster 48x writers we've tested. Better yet, it was able to write
to most of our test media at 48x while keeping the writing errors to a
minimum. CenDyne's combo drive also did very well in our rewriting tests.
Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough to catch the LG
GCC-4480B.

Like its Samsung counterpart, CenDyne's combo drive
doesn't disappoint when it comes to features. While the drive doesn't
share the 8MB buffer found on the retail SM-348B, its 2MB buffer and Super
Link technology do a good job preventing coasters caused by buffer
underruns. The CenDyne doesn't support the Mt. Rainier format out of the
box either, but this feature can be enabled through a firmware
update.

Because the drive offers good performance for a low price (the
CenDyne combo drive can be found online for around $ 72 USD), it gets
