Danish Anti Piracy Group demands $135.000,- from filesharers

jsl used our newssubmit to tell us about a Danish article on Computerworld Online. The Danish AntiPiratGruppen (Anti Piracy Group, APG) demands a total of about $135.000,- from 150 Danish filesharers:



They demand between 1000-100.000 DKK (10 DKK ~ $1.35) as a compensation for files shared by the users on Kazaa and Edonkey. Totally APG demand about 1 million DKK from the filesharers. AntiPiratGruppen has estimated the value of every shared music album to 60 DKK, movie to 200 DKK and game to 300 DKK.

APG have traced the IP numbers of the users and then received the names and addresses from the Danish ISP's. The filesharers must pay before 1 December or they will be sued by APG.
