According to the Dekart page, this software was designed for ease of use and requires a very small learning curve. The encrypted partition resides in a single file which is easy to backup to any media. Once a user creates a virtual encrypted disk, that disk is assigned a new drive letter and appears to the user like any other system drive (like the A: or C: drive). When the disk is unmounted, the secure data it contains becomes completely unreadable. For those that are interested in learning more about this program, we invite you to visit the Dekart website. They are offering a free 30 day trial download. If you like the software, it is being offered for 45 dollars US or if you are a student, it is available for $ 24.95
