Developers of Star-Force answer questions online

Star-Force is currently one of the hardest protections to beat, and seems to be uncopyable with the current CD-RW drives, software and media available on the consumer market.

This is mainly because the Star-Force protection uses it's own media and strong encryption. Because the protection is rather unknown and seems to be a little more complicated then other protections currently available, the developers decided to answer questions online:

StarForce Technologies made a decision to start a daily online conference at www.star-force.com to discuss data protection issues. We recently have got a lot of questions about StarForce CD-R copy protection system, its features and performance and that is why the first discussion topic is: "Copy protection for software distributed on CD-Rs, StarForce CD-R ". The session will take place on Monday, July 22. Further discussion topics will be selected according to the interest of the audience.

Conference sessions will cover not only StarForce products but also general copy protection and piracy topics. The company management team considers that a live talk between the audience and leading StarForce developers will attract more software publishers and developers.

The conference will be held daily at 10 a.m. PST (6 a.m. GMT) and last for an hour and a half. The time of the conference is selected to suit European and American audience.

If you have special intrest in protections like this (like, you are a developer who makes software that bypasses the protection ) then you need to register on the Star-Force website before you can join the 'conference'.
