DiscJuggler 4.0 Professional review @ CDRLabs.com

Our friends over at CDRLabs.com have wrapped up another review. No hardware has been reviewed this time, but software. Boone from CDRLabs.com has taken a look at Padus' latest version of DiscJuggler. Although many people will perhaps say, why use it when you have CloneCD and Nero, but this software definately has some strong points (support for a shared network writer for instance):

Padus as a company has been around for a while. They've been quietly tweaking their pride and joy DiscJuggler software for a few years now. I say they've been doing this quietly because they just don't have the OEM presence that Nero and Easy CD Creator have. Historically consumers have purchased a CD-RW and received software in some form or another with it, and they've typically been happy with it. Companies without a large OEM channel into the homes of consumers just haven't registered on the radar.

However, please remember that registering on a radar only make you visible, it doesn't necessarily make you dangerous.

DiscJuggler organized almost everything between the File/New dialog and Explorer. I was half expecting to see a Tools->Erase RW Disc item since it seems to be the popular method lately, but it was in the File/New dialog. That was the only thing I had to get used to. I thought DiscJuggler's functionality was laid out very well, and it didn't take long to hunt for something if you didn't know where to look. This is great, because if you're like me, you only read the instruction manual when you're so confused that it's probably already too late. If it does come to that, or you're lacking in manly pride, Padus does have an excellent manual that can be seen online before a potential DJ4 purchase. If you're still on the fence even after all of the great things I've mentioned, a glance through the manual should change that.

DiscJuggler gets an overall impresive score of 9. You can read the full review here. In our Burning Software Forum you can discuss your experiences with this software!
