The TV Quality Survey 2007 in Canada shows that consumers find Discovery Channel HD good. Discovery was ranked as the best non-sports channel in high definition. With only ending behind the nation's favorite, a sports network called TSN, Discovery is very popular in the Northern country.
In the survey's history this was the first time that respondents could answer questions about which channel is the best in HD. With high-definiton not being mainstream yet (or is it?), this survey shows that it will not take long before it is. With Discovery Channel ending high in the overall ranking it shows that it is a channel for everybody, but with the news that they've won in the younger group (aged 18-34), we can state that this channel will there for the long run.
