Hulu and the Walt Disney Company are reportedly in negotiations to bring ABC programming content to the NBC Universal-operated company in exchange for an equity stake in the site.
An unnamed source told PaidContent that it's possible other content will be available in the deal, including ESPN and the Disney Channel, but the talks mainly surround ABC content. Negotiations are "serious" between the two companies, but a confirmed deal hasn't been reached as of yet.
If negotiations truly are taking place, it's unknown when, if ever, a deal will be reached.

Hulu continues to look for new content partners in its effort to offer a wider variety of TV episodes and movies for viewers. If a deal can be hashed out with ABC, then Hulu will have support of three of the four largest TV networks in the U.S. Most broadcasters now host their own episodes, which has left online video a somewhat fractured market -- Hulu could be the first online portal to fix the problem.
Since launching publicly, Hulu has quickly become one of the most popular online video web sites, offering an impressive catalog of movies and TV episodes. Hulu is supported Fox and News Corp., which is the parent company of NBC Universal.
