On The DVDxCopy site we can find a new release of the software that enables you to make 1:1 copies of DVDs. The development team has been expanded with derrow, author of several freeware DVD applications such as IFOEdit and VOBEdit.
Also the user interface has been changed and several addtions have been done to enhance the software. Intresting is also that apparently 321 studios are going to include the Nero burning engine.
- Preview is back (in a new form.) You can now preview the split point so you can be certain the movie will be divided at a reasonable place. Oh yeah, we fixed the bug that prevented you from choosing the split chapter.
- Episodic DVD's like the first season of The Sopranos are handled quite nicely now -- as are many other disks that previously gave us trouble.
- We let you get rid of the menus, introductory material and anything else that might prevent you from cramming the actual movie on one disk.
- And, of course, as promised, you can now use the Nero engine to burn your disks if you already own a copy of Nero. Coming soon the Nero engine will be incorporated directly into DVDXCopy, but that's not in this version.
