It seems that 321 Studios does what it has promised and DVDxCopy is currently one of the best DVD copying software around. It's rather expensive, but the development team of the software seems to work hard on it, to bring new features and to fix the usual bugs.
Today version 1.2.1 has been released that fixes some bugs and also lets you play DVDs on region free DVD players, that didn't work before on them.
- Version 1.2 had a problem with some DVDs that caused it to hang or crash as it started to process the second disk. V1.2.1 is a fix for that problem.
- We also fixed the problem that made copies of PAL disks say "Please Insert Disk 1" when they meant "Please Insert Disk 2" (and vice versa.)
- While we were at it, we added a new feature. DVDXCopied disks will now play on region-free players even if the original disk wouldn't.
- The new version is available for downloading now on the usual ftp servers. Just install it on top of any previous version.
