eDonkey is still pretty populair with hardcore movie downloaders, and one of it's disadvantages is probably the client. Altough it's not bad, it's certainly not a great looking application. This is probably also what the developers of the open source eDonkey client eMule tought.
Their software, eMule, is a filesharing client which is based on the eDonkey2000 network but offers more features than the standard client. Besides that is has more features we also have to say that it looks great!
