ESET accidently blocked access to all co.uk sites today

ESET's antivirus software blocked access to many domains with the .co.uk extension today. The issue caused users not being able to visit sites from the BBC, the UK versions of Amazon and Google and news websites like TheRegister and The Daily Mail. Also the co.uk website of ESET itself was blocked.

Users who were affected by the issue received a warning that access to the sites was blocked. According to the ESET antivirus software the sites were infected with the "HTML/ScrInject.B" trojan. An update released earlier today  should solve the false positive and ESET recommends users that still have issues to reboot their computer.
