d42 used our news submit to tell us that also Freecom has released a dual format DVD recorder. The company has launched an internal 4 speed DVD recorder that writes DVD+R at 4 speed, DVD-R at 4 speed, DVD+RW at 2,4 speed and DVD-RW at 2 speed. It read DVD-ROM at 12 speed, writes CD-Rs at 16x and reads them back at 40 speed.
d42 adds: "From the specs it may well be another NEC ND-1300A clone like the TDK drive. It"s also the same price as the NEC at £190 (€264) in the UK"
