French anti European Copy Right Directive initiative - help out!

VSO-Software mailed us if we could also give some attention to a French initiative that fights against the upcoming European Copyright Directive. This European version of the DCMA will restrict the use of digital media a lot.

It will probably end the right to make a backup for personal use or to bypass copy protections. Therefor it's important that everyone who thinks this law should not pass makes this known to the persons that can stop it. Unfortunately the site is only in French, so we encourage our French speaking visitors to take a look at the site.
