Using a Panasonic SW-9587 optical head, besides 12x DVD-RAM recording, the other specs for recording on this drive are as follows: DVD±R DL at 8x, DVD±R at 16x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, CD-R at 48x and CD-RW at 32x. It comes bundled with DVD MovieWriter 4.7 SE with Recorder GOLD8 Security plugin, B's CLiP6 and WinDVD 5 with CPRM.
