Some time ago we reported that the iRiver company launched a new digital music player, the iHP-120, with support for the Ogg Vorbis music format. In this article we mentioned that the company would also release new firmware versions for older iRiver players. Today, thanks to Cameron, we can read on the iRiver website that the company has indeed released a new firmware version (1.16) for the iHP-100 player that enables Ogg Vorbis support:
