Users who've pirated the paid version of the Android application Today Calendar, will see pirated themed appointments in their calendar from now on, according to the developer of the app on Google Plus.
Previously the developer reported 85% of the installs of his paid Android app were pirated. To solve his problem he has come up with a playful solution to try to convince users to pay for the app.
The pirated version of Today Calendar now automatically adds pirate themed appointments like "walk the plank" which has as description, "That's what ye get fer piratin'matey". The latest changelog of the app also states, "Arrgh" : Anti-Pirate Measures."
With his action the developers to lower the amount of pirated installs of his calendar app and convince users to purchase the app. The paid version of Today Calendar is can be purchased for $4.99 in the Google Play Store.
