iMesh 3.0 released

Remember iMesh? As far as I can remember, iMesh was one of the first Napster-clones. Although it never had a really good chance to become as popular as Napster and Kazaa, it's been around for some time.

Right now, version 3.0 has been released.

iMesh offers special features such as quick downloads, the option to restrict certain search results, a player that includes playlists, a history of uploads, skin support, and much more.

Version 3.0 has been completely redesigned with a new user interface, improved search capabilities, faster download speeds, and a new chat feature.

The option to download the same file from 7 users at once should make downloading lots faster. That this technology can work very nice has been proven by Kazaa: it's Fasttrack technology does just the same and it works pretty good.

Although lots of people think that iMesh is obsolete, it's still got about 7 million users worldwide. Ok, it's not the biggest p2p network around, but it sure is one that should be mentioned.

I think I'm going to try it. You want it as well? Download it here.
