Digit-life tells us that Leadtek Research has unveiled the WinFast DV2000. A new multimedia center for video processing. The WinFast DV2000 sports a IEEE1394 port and supports DirectBurn enabling to connect your PC directly to DC/DV sources and record video directly to files. In addition, an add-in connector is bundled providing 2 more IEEE1394 ports.
The WinFast DV2000 will feature a 10-bit video decoder; supports MTS/EIA-J/NICAM/A2, stereo sound, TV-Text, Electronic Program Guide, NetMeeting, Picture in picture, Time-Shifting, MPEG-1/2/4; and is bundled with a remote control.
The packaged software includes: Leadtek WinFast PVR, Leadtek WinFast DVD, Ulead VideoStudio 7, Ulead DVDMovieFactory 2 and Ulead Cool 3D 3.0. Pricing and availability were not mentioned in the article.
