LG is putting online movies in reach of the masses with its Netflix-enabled BD300 Blu-ray player.
As well as playing Blu-ray and DVD discs, LG's internet-enabled BD300 will also offer access to any of the 12,000 movies and TV episodes available online to Netflix subscribers. The player is also BD-Live-compatible, offering access to advanced Blu-ray features such as bonus content and downloadable trailers.
LG's BD300 is only the second set-top device to stream Netflix movies, after the $99 Roku player was released earlier this year - a dedicated Netflix player. Netflix also recently announced it will partner with Microsoft's Xbox Live service for the Xbox 360 this year.
