Lite-On SOHW-812S 8x DVD±RW recorder available in Japan

Lite-On's latest DVD
recorder, the SOHW-812S which was announced at the beginning of this year, is now available in Japan. The new DVD recorder is Lite-On's fastest
drive supporting 8x recording to both DVD-R and DVD+R media. DVD ReWriteable
media can be written at 4x while CD-R media can be written at 40x and
CD-RW media at 24x. The Lite-On SOHW-812S costs around US$ 127 (14,000 Yen).

The drive which corresponds to the record of
DVD±R with 8 time speed which follows to NEC and the pioneer and Hitachi
LG. The same company make drive is known by also the fact that depth of
the frame is short, but in the short circuit type, 170mm latest
"SOHW-812S" not to leak to the example, it may be valued the user of the
small-sized PC case on the center.
