Malaysia is cracking down on its movie pirates. The Asian country that's known of its quick growth and innovative strategy is now doing its best to stop the ongoing piracy. Malaysian officials have confiscated 150 burners and tens of thousands of discs from a lab near its capital Kuala Lumpur.
This last seizure must scare the organizations behind the labs since the number of confiscated burners now comes close to 500. Last year there were 23 burners seized in the same period. Last week's police catch stopped the organization from making an estimated $14.2 million.
Offcourse this won't mean that you have to be scared when you burn a single DVD, but don't even think about making a million. 😉
