Hexium used our newssubmit to tell us that Microsoft says that Windows XP has not been cracked yet and that Microsoft will always fight the battle against software piracy.
Anything you can protect by writing software code, you can break by writing other software code. That is a fundamental fact of life," said Brad Smith, Microsoft's deputy general counsel. Still, he maintained "we have not yet found an instance where counterfeiters have successfully cracked the activation feature." Microsoft officials confirmed, however, that some hackers have been able to bypass the activation feature by obtaining copies of "volume license keys," or software code used by corporations to activate multiple copies of software. If someone didn't find a way to bypass activation, Windows XP would stop working after 30 days. |
While activation targets what Microsoft calls the "casual copying" of software -- such as someone making one or two illegal copies of Windows in the home -- efforts such as the Southern California crackdown are aimed at much more sophisticated software pirates who sell phony goods to retailers.
I'm not sure if there is really no crack for the Windows Activation, If I'm right there is only a crack for Office XP, that not even works very well. If you know more, post below, but NO URL TO THE CRACK!! That could bring us in big trouble...
