Nero CD-DVD Speed is updated to v3.40 record results to disc

Erik Deppe has release a newer version of his benchmarking software, Nero CD-DVD Speed. Now you can measure
the performance of your CD-RW or DVD recorder and record the results to disc.
Nero CD-DVD Speed can test: Transfer rate, Seek times, CPU usage, Burst
rate, DAE (Digital Audio Extraction) quality & Spinup/spindown time.


What's
new in this version:



  • Create Data Disc: Test results can be recorded on the
    disc
  • Disc Quality Test: Added enhanced scanning capabilities
    for BenQ 8x DVD recorders
  • Disc Quality Test: Added advanced jitter test for AOpen
    Combo drives and CD-RW recorders
  • Disc Quality Test: Added colored bars on the background
    to show the acceptable level of errors
  • Disc Quality Test: Improved scoring system
  • Many small improvements and bug fixes
