Plextor Europe sends us the news that they have released some new firmwares today. This time for the PX-W1610TA and the PX-S88T.

Added:

Special commands for Windows XP blank disc detection and pop-up function

Improvements:

  • Read performance for CD-TEXT
  • Read performance for CD-DA (DAE)
  • Write performance for High Speed CD-RW media

    - PX - S88T V1.04

    Improvements:

  • Burn-Proof performance
  • OPC accuracy for CD-RW media
  • Initialise performance for lower quality Audio CD's
