The German website chip.de has published an online comparison of several CD and DVD recording programs. They have a closer look at Nero 6.x, Instant CD/DVD 8.0, Easy CD & DVD Creator 6, B's Recorder Gold 7 and WinOnCD 6 DVD Edition.
| Summary: Mainly the two first placed applications from Ahead and Pinnacle don't leave out a single function, the DVD area has to offer. Quality cannot always catch up with quantity but the functionality would have been sensational only one year ago. One problem was the integration of all functions into one program. Here Nero is setting standards with a clever user guidance and makes the feature champion Instant CD/DVD get only the second place. |
