New Global Divx Player 1.9.0 (With Spyware!)

Global DivX player has reached version 1.9.0. GDivx consumes less memory and CPU Cycles than Windows Media player. It supports DiVX Movies, VCD, MPEG, AVI, WMV, and ASF Video.

Whats New in 1.9.0?GDiVX Now Has PLAYLISTS! Along with many other updates, including bug fixes, updated code, Support for Multitrack VCDs, Support for more VCD formats, code optomisation, less cpu use, better subtitle support, including Subtitles in Fullscreen mode, and much more.

Eran used our newssubmit to let us know that this new version comes with Savenow and NewDotNet spyware. You can choose not to install these programs (watch the installation carefuly and unclick the spyware!). If you want to uninstall Newdotnet, do it through the Control Panel Add/Remove.

He had problems with this spyware during the uninstallation process. It changes the Winsock2 registry keys and sometimes does not change them back during uninstall rendiring windows without a working TCP/IP. If you also have problems with this look at his posting on google
