New version of Demon Tools available - might prevent blacklisting

d42 and SmallLittle both used our news submit to tell us that version 3.43 of the famous CD-ROM/DVD-ROM emulator Daemon Tools is now available for download. An interesting feature was added that might prevent Daemon Tools being blacklisted by several copy protections in the future.

Changelog:

Added ability to change driver filenames (prevents future blacklists)
Added blindwrite 5 image plugin (bw5mount)
Fixed some crash problems in 9x with 3rd party drivers like nerocd95.vxd
Improved setup
Many blacklists fixed
Fixed some bugs

Daemon Tools is known for its ability to emulate several popular copy protections, but I'm curious if it will really be possible to avoid blacklisting with this version. I guess protection manufacturers will find other ways to circumvent disc emulation.
