New version of DVD2one being developed, adds Join Mode

Lenco used our news submit to tell us that on the DVD2one Forum we can read that the authors of the DVD2one software are currently working on a new version. This new version will add a new mode, the Join Mode, with which you can join two DVDs together, e.g. the two sides of a single double-sided DVD disc. According to the author of DVD2one this can be done seamless or non seamless:

Made a couple of screenshots of the beta version i was testing this morning. Step 1, and look it's a new mode ðŸ™‚

First you choose the source dir which contains the first title of the collection you want to make

Then you do the usual, choose titleset, audio and subtitle and then.. The new screen,

This is where the magic begins, you can select eather seamless or non seamless. If you want to join, like i did in the example two episode's of the simpons in one title set. You can do that seamless, because the two titles have a matching structure (subtitle's and audio)

So the end result is ONE title set containing the two joined episodes. The other option is to do it non-seamless, aka create two different titlesets.

So, the big question on your mind is, when do we get this new feature?? Well i honestly can't tell you, because at this moment Erwin is working on a other revolutionary feature in the oneclick backup world 🙂
