The Japanese website Akiba reports that the Buffalo DVM-RD16FB is now available in Japanese stores. This drive is a rebadged Pioneer DVR-108. This is a much anticipated drive as it is able to record 16 speed at DVD+R discs and 4 speed on double layer DVD+R discs. The true Pioneer drives should be available in the next couple of days as well. General specifications are:
